Menergy Movement After Party

If you're in Detroit for Movement this weekend, come out to the R&R Saloon on Saturday for Menergy! Steve Summers & Magic Touch will be performing live and I'll be DJing alongside residents Mike Trombley & Scott Zacharias, Ron Morelli of L.I.E.S., and my homies Jeffrey & Shearn from The Magic Message. We're in it for the long haul, with strong songs from 8pm til 5am!

For directions, check the map embedded at the bottom of the post.

Of course, it wouldn't be a DBJ post without some music. First up, a taste of Steve Summers' L.I.E.S. release...

Ron Morelli recently held it down for L.I.E.S. on Beats In Space. Check out the mix below:

I've already posted this before, but Ron went above and beyond the call of duty with this mix...

Respect to Snikars

This mix by L.I.E.S. mastermind Ron Morelli has been on heavy rotation for the past few months, so I thought I'd share. It was recorded for the Noise In My Head radio show & most of the records were purchased at Snikars Records in Stockholm. I gotta book a flight to Sweden soon!

Respect to Snikars-Ron Morelli mix for Noise in My Head, Australia by L.I.E.S.

she was a beeetch
happy alone
say a prayer for the morning
rough relations
a nice ass
out in public
with a sweet funky
thats' racist!
full of passion
stay high
annoying male vocal
way better than before
and even better
in the roadhouse
danger little stranger
subdued disco drama
some nihilist shit
america #1 everyone else #1000
slanted and enchanted
how much low can you get?
