Nobody's Got TIme

The chief of the disco police Jay Negron (aka J*Ski) really hooked it up with this one. He ripped the super funky 45 version of Eddy Grant's Nobody's Got Time, stitched part 1 and 2 together AND made a special 10 minute extended version. Grab both versions below:

40 Years of Philly Intl with JSki

I'm really honored to be a part of a new compilation that commemorates the 40th Anniversary of one of the most influential labels of all time, Philly International Records. I have an official remix of "Wake Up Everybody" by Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes (f/ Teddy Pendergrass) on there. Todd Terje and other great editors on there as well. There are tons of new Tom Moulton mixes, a 10 CD retrospective, numerous re-edits and a 60-page booklet. Huge undertaking! Thanks to Kenny Gamble, PIR and Sony/Harmless/BBC records for the opportunity! So humbling to be associated with this great label.

I especially wanted to thank Juan Jay Negron, aka JSki (not to be confused with the Philly J-Ski), who was responsible for lots of the logistics with this project. If you frequent the DBJ soundcloud group, you'll notice that Jay is a super-prolific edit maker. He's been in the game for decades now, and he's got great taste! I wanted to shout Jay out and encourage all y'all to check out his work!
