Haven't posted something like this in a while. I love this Brother Brown track released on Yoshitoshi in 2001. Effected drums for days. Good sample material or simply a tailor made break for your house set.

The title of the track up for download is "Wake Up Beats" NOT "Brotha Brotha".

There is also an old DJ Funk (I think?) Ghetto Chi-House track from the 90's that has a similar drum pattern/effect. I believe the track is called "Rubber Band" or something similar. My memory is failing me here, so someone set me straight. Would not be surprised if these dudes just sampled that and slowed it down a bit.
