Every time I have rocked with Eli or heard him play live, I've thought "this man sells a record better than anybody." What I mean is that Eli can play a set that consists almost entirely of what I consider to be "risky" records to play - jams that might need a few tracks to set up in order to get the crowd on board. But Eli SELLS the damn thing - with subtlety he shows you why this is a damn good record. Really, it's a pleasure to hear the man play music. At the risk of being too laudatory, I should also mention that he has a great production resume and has remixed Lana Del Rey, Bag Raiders, Diplo, M.I.A., Chromeo, Holy Ghost!, Pase Rock, Jessica 6, Dirty Vegas, Ali Love, and Amanda Blank. So there's that.
So, it's decided. See you this Thursday! (Of course, all other Thursdays of the month you can still catch me at Red Room with Ed Blammo!)
