Had To

Since the second I saw Apt One posted A Track off of "The Tough Man Soundtrack" all i could think of is the bangin break two songs later on the Lp titled "Run Fay Run" . Don't get me wrong "Hung Up On My Baby" is the joint and good look Apt One for that 320 rip! But i feel an obligation to my b-boys and B-girl colleagues to drop this one for the funk heads. Enjoy!

Digger Joint

I found this 45 a few years back at a record show early in the morning. This track really isn't that great until the breaks, which are conveniently marked for those Serato users out there. But don't sleep - these breaks are amazing and a secret weapon of mine at any B-boy/B-girl jam. Speaking of B-boy/B-girl jams, I will be spinning at the Hexagon Space in Baltimore on June 4th, so if your around check it out. Until then enjoy this little gem.

Get On Up Do It Again

This classic has a great break and a lot of flavor. The lyrics are cool too - at one point she says, "you're so sleazy when you tease me." I'm just saying that's hard to beat. Enjoy!
