Third of the Storms (Party Bros. Remix)

The Party Bros. (aka Chris Burns & Gavin Holland) have a fresh remix of Mike Simonetti's Third of the Storms for you. It's a stripped-down, dubby burner that strikes a unique balance between mechanical and human. It's not often that I encounter minimal tracks that I'd like to hear during the daytime.

Here's a tasteful edit of Isaac Hayes' version of Fever, courtesy of our homies, The SyntheTigers. The drums on this knock pretty hard. I'm thinking this will get a great dance floor response.

What I Like

This competes with Wide Boy Awake's Chicken Outlaw for the best band shot ever. It's a solid cut too. If you don't know it, you may recognize it as the sample source of a big track from a couple years ago.

Hello DBJ fam. While drinking beer on the street in Berlin early this week I ran into one of our friends in Helsinki 78-82. We were talking about digging and all the things that nerdy DJs talk about, and he reminded me that I actually post on this blog and I should, uh, actually post more.
