Take A Chance

Here's a fresh rip of the Italo mega classic, Take A Chance to get your weekend started right! I know vocal version has made the blog rounds over the years, but the rips are always questionable & often from bootleg pressings. Rest assured, these are from an OG (which sounds way better than the Cosmic Explorer bootleg). Plus I don't think the instrumental is so easy to find online, so say thanks and play LOUD!

Also, I had no idea this was a Material cover until last year. Check it out:

From the excellent No More Hits label, it's the Italian house producer & edit guru Nicholas on the soulful tip.

Show Me Love

Moulton Music's Homero Espinosa - or as you jammers may know him, Ovidio - made a DJ friendly edit of Kerri Chandler's version of Show Me Love. It's a great version of a stone cold vocal house classic, and now it's going to be way more fun to mix! Also, be sure to check out Homero's new release on Moulton, Love Say, on Traxsource.

Papa

The vocal version is one of my favorite songs ever, but the instrumental flip has a charm of it's own.

Let's Get Naughty

I recently found out Roy Dank, who was behind The Wurst Music Co., launched a new label: Free Association. I was pleased to see his debut release is by Name In Lights, who had a standout track on The Wurst Music Ever comp. Their new joint for FA, Naughty, is their best work yet - righteous party starter synths with hints of funky percussion and a creeping vocal hook. Check out the original mix & Axel Bowman's syrupy remix below and pick up the vinyl from Juno in the UK or Halcyon in the US, or buy it from Beatport.
