The Symphony

I decided to drop some knowledge for those who need a quick lesson on some Hip-Hop ish. When I saw Shawn Ryan post the "Affirmative Action Remix," my first thought was Juice Crew's "Symphony." This possibly may be the best posse cut ever. It was the first Hip-Hop track to make the Otis Redding sample "Hard To Handle" popular. In addition, I also would like to drop my favorite version of "Affirmative Action" that I used to cut up everyday during blunted freestyle sessions. Enjoy and peep the OG Juice crew video!

Everytime I bike through crazy traffic on Walnut Street or Chestnut Street, the Affirmative Action Remix inexplicably pops into my head. EVERYTIME. I think the piano riff gets me pumped for riding between moving cars and running lights. You might actually remember The Firm from Phone Tap though. Big MTV hit back in the day. I used to look forward to the AWESOME video redeeming all of the shitty videos that preceded it.
