Last April I came across Morsy's tasteful mix of Don't You Want Me. The subtly beefed up drums are nice in the club, but the real clincher is that he sped it up to 125 bpm. After seeing the whole dancefloor freak out to it last night at Hurrah, I thought I'd share:

I want you to spell for me New York.Dillinger - Cocaine In My Brain
A knife, a fork, a bottle and a cork
That's the way we spell New York

DJHistory.com has just released an ace compilation of early 90's London deep house by Street Corner Symphony. For those of who aren't familiar with them it was a project helmed by Glen Gunner, a face on the early suburban house scene, with keyboards by Pete Z (Idjut Boys, Ray Mang etc). Harvey also contributed percussion and mixes to a number of the songs.

Vinyl Rips, Obscurities, 12" Versions, Edits, Dubs, Remixes, Bonzers, Musings & Other Rhythms with love from Philadelphia.
